Everytime I ask a guy to stand when Lupang Hinirang is being played on the radio, they always say, "it's already standing." Is it out of shame or laziness that they don't pay respect to the national anthem? Actually, it includes me as well. But if I can help it, I find a way to stand, like going somewhere just to get my butt out of my chair and remain standing while the anthem is being played.
