A Lot Like Love - one of my faves in college and Ashton Kutcher is one of my hollywood crushes.lol As I was browsing a list of movies to watch online, I saw this and I decided to watch it again... and I still love it.hihihih

I ♥ this part.^^ Oliver (Kutcher) had "3 Strikes" to Emily (Peet) when they first met:

1st He didn't make the first move (though he actually did as Emily discovered lately through the photos he took of her).
2nd He didn't know how to play the guitar.
3rd He was born under the sign of Cancer.

This was a really nice photo they took.
They also made out at the back of Emily's car
and was awaken by a police man in the morning
and told them that they were on a National Park. ^^

They were at the party where Emily saw his ex-boyfriend with another girl.
New Year's countdown began and she could not find Oliver.
When the countdown was over, all couples kissed and she didn't have a partner. Then Oliver came rushing towards her and kissed her.

Twilight Fever

Twilight mania it is! When I first saw the trailer, it seems like a must-see movie to me. But when I read the book, I no longer liked the movie.lol Many people are comparing it to Harry Potter - but for me they are incomparable. For the movie and the book, Harry Potter is way better than Twilight - quality-and-stor-wise. That is just my opinion and I'm not really an expert and a good critic. Both series are at different levels so there's really nothing to compare.

Anyways, Shella and Graze are more into the Twilight fever than me. They're more eager to watch the movie, so we did even though we have watched it already in the internet. lol I just joined them in the cinema on the next start of the movie - yes they watched it twice.^ ^

When I read the book, I thought that Rob didn't satisfy Edward Cullen's character. Sorry to disappoint his fans. But he was really dazzling in the movie. I think he's fair enough for the character. Maybe the low budget explains why the movie is not well-made and received poor reviews. Only the characters have made it a hit.

The one that caught my attention when I first saw the trailer was James (Cam Gigandet), the antagonist of the movie. He looked gorgeous with his long hair. Then he was shirtless in his first scene in Twilight. *drooling hahahah He looked different when he's got short hair though. He doesn't look that hot.

Hmm. .in conclusion, the movie is good (at least for me). But it could have been better though. ^ ^

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince Movie Moved to July 2009

Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince movie has been rescheduled. From the original November 21, 2008 release date, it has been moved to July 17, 2009. Great! People have been excited with the movie when the trailer was released last july and is now circulating all over the internet - plus the fact that it will be shown on November. Surely people got disappointed.

Warners explained that summertime is the ideal window for a family tent pole release. But some speculated that Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince movie was moved because of the overwhelming success of the Dark Knight - that they don't need money this year anymore.

The movie will surely be a big hit whenever they are going to release it. Maybe that's the reason why they moved it. Its just disappointing though. Just nearly a month after they released the trailer and announced the release date of the movie, they decided to move it 8 months later than the original date.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince Movie Trailer

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince movie trailer has been released. The movie which is the 6th part of J.K. Rowling's book series, Harry Potter, is focused on the life of Tom Riddle a.k.a. Lord Voldemort. When the book was released, many have been devastated of Dumbledore's death and hatred was thrown upon Professor Snape. He was the one whom everyone (including the readers) thought was the murderer of Dumbledore. But in book 7, he turned out to be the "hero." I was even touched by his love for Lily. . .nakz!emo. .lol

Ralph Fiennes still portrays the adult Lord Voldemort while the young one is played by his nephew, Hero Fiennes-Tiffin. The much awaited movie will be released on November 21, 2008.

How Good Is Your Kung Fu?

Was Po an adopted son?

The first time I saw the trailer of Kung Fu Panda late last year or early this year, I said this is a must-see movie - at leas for me.☺ Then it was released in the Philippines on June 06, 2008 and I've only seen it last June 20 - ALONE. There has been delays due to some reasons, and so I decided to watch it alone last Friday.

The movie was great. With its familiar message, the story is somehow light and you'll know how it will end. But with its martial arts action and colorful animation, mixed with humour, you'll love the movie.

Having big names behind the voices of the characters could be an added promotional tactic, but I think it made them more effective. Po's character was really cute. With his "great love for food," he was able to develop his Kung Fu abilities.

Also, Sam Concepcion sings the theme song for the Philippine release of Kung Fu Panda. He is actually the first Filipino to work with Dreamworks for this project.

Friday (13th) Freak!

It's Friday and it's july 13. The day I saw him die-SIRIUS BLACK! Though the way he died was not as heart numbing as was portrayed in the book. I almost shed a tear (or I think I did) when I read it in the book. Harry was sooooo dumb! (ooops, not at all, sorry harry) It's just that he let his emotions control him. . . Well, that was his "weapon that Voldemort didn't have." Nice one J.K.!

Nyway, I was really excited with the movie because I love this part of the book. As the movie started, I couldn't help but feel really excited (took the story seriously hihih). If you have read the book thoroughly, you will notice a lot of changes. Of course, they couldn't fit the whole story in an almost-three-hour movie. They could have cut the story short but they didn't have to change it. No quidditch game, Ron was with Harry and Hermione when Hagrid brought them to grawp, Cho Chang was the one who betrayed them (it should have been Marietta, her friend), the prophecy was broken by Malfoy or someone, then Harry's company at the Ministry of Magic was there after Dumbledore's fight with Voldemort.

Then, Grawp here looks very familiar. . Is Grawp Shrek? They look the same. .hee hee The Weasley twins really looked cute as ever! Though Sirius' tatoo at the chest area looked cool, I didn't know Sirius Black had a tatoo. .hihih

But the movie is satisfying enough for a PhP70.50 fee. But the book exceeds anyone's expectation. Can't wait to read the 7th. .

The posters outside the cinema really looked tempting. .and so I fell. .

Anyways, watched shrek 3 yesterday with my cuz and sis. . .treated them for some fun. . .and. . .I got broke!phew Well, the movie was fun and enjoying.

The movie was inspiring and Drew is just my hollywood crush which makes the movie more interesting to watch for me. heheh Then, there was Jack Sparrow, my favorite movie character. He's just too sexy to resist. I was actually wondering if there's another Pirates of the Caribbean movie. Aqua Vida?

Since I'm talking about movies, I'll make this to the fullest. . . Spiderman 3 was just so frustrating! Peter Parker was a jerk for losing MJ and for kissing Gwen upside down! Men! Then, Harry Osborne died! Oh come on! He deserves to live than Peter! He has a good heart, only that he was blinded by the attention he wanted from his father. That was just my own opinion, ok, I'm entitled to have one. I just didn't like it that Harry died.

Speaking of death. . . I don't feel like watching Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Sirius Black was killed by his cousin Bella there. When I first read that part, I didn't know he was killed. I just thought he fell off behind that veil. I even had to turn back the pages and read it again and again. Damn! He really died. I felt like crying (or maybe I did!) at that moment. I just couldn't accept it. He's my fave character in the book aside from the Weasley twins. On second thought, I don't think I'd like to miss the movie. . . ^.^

Hmm. .Looking forward to be satisfied with Oceans 13. Going to have a date with my bestfriend Mishall. We lately have this movie trip. It's a good escapade from being blue.

Love Actually

Love actually. . is all around. That's what the movie is all about. I just watched it recently and was impressed with the message that love actually, is all around. But not all the love are being returned. The most hurting part there was the love of the man for his best friend's wife. His best friend and his wife thought that he didn't like her for his best friend. But when she asked for their wedding video tape, he was surprised to see that the video was just about her.

There was also the story of infidelity. Why are men so prone to this? Well, women may be tempting, but is love not that powerful to resist it?

Then the most impressive part here is the story about a child's courage. His stepdad was so worried about him because after his mom's funeral, he isolated himself in his room. His stepdad was so worried that he might be into drugs or stuff like that. But when he convinced him to tell him what his problem was, he was simply in love! He was in love with the most popular girl in school whom he thought didn't even know he existed. But with his stepdad's help, he gained himself the confidence he needed to face the girl and tell her that he loves him. He even learned to play drums just to join her perform on Christmas eve. Then, he didn't mind the guards at the airport and ran his way towards the girl and told her he loves her. You can see the fulfillment on the boy's face when he was being handed by the guards to his stepdad.

One thing I realized in here is that there is some sense of fulfillment and satisfaction in telling the person you love about your feelings. Even the man who got in love with his best friend's wife, he secretly told her his feelings. That was a heart-aching moment for him to tell her that during Christmas eve. It was like also saying goodbye to her in a way that it was enough for him to just let her know his feelings and it ends there. They move on with their own lives.

Love, like life, is soooo complicated! But I really admire that child for being so brave. Cowards are losers. . . and I'm a loser.
