How Good Is Your Kung Fu?

Was Po an adopted son?

The first time I saw the trailer of Kung Fu Panda late last year or early this year, I said this is a must-see movie - at leas for me. Then it was released in the Philippines on June 06, 2008 and I've only seen it last June 20 - ALONE. There has been delays due to some reasons, and so I decided to watch it alone last Friday.

The movie was great. With its familiar message, the story is somehow light and you'll know how it will end. But with its martial arts action and colorful animation, mixed with humour, you'll love the movie.

Having big names behind the voices of the characters could be an added promotional tactic, but I think it made them more effective. Po's character was really cute. With his "great love for food," he was able to develop his Kung Fu abilities.

Also, Sam Concepcion sings the theme song for the Philippine release of Kung Fu Panda. He is actually the first Filipino to work with Dreamworks for this project.
