Been thinking lately on how to make good use of my blog. I then found out about Smorty, a service connecting advertisers with bloggers. Advertisers can pay bloggers to write opinion posts with links back to the advertisers site through Smorty. It offers you to write your own opinion and you get paid for blogging. In short, you get paid to blog. Simple? Seems so. So how do you exactly do it? Smorty offers you with advertising campaign opportunities wherein you can choose the topic that interests you most with a minimum of $6 per post. Although a high page rank isn't required, it is of more advantage for you if your blog has higher PR because you get more campaign offers and higher priced campaigns. On some occasions, you might earn as high as $100 per article. But if you have lower PR, it doesn't mean you are less prioritized with campaign offers. Smorty isn't only for bloggers though. They also offer blog advertising wherein an advertiser may create a blog advertising campaign consisting of description that explains to the bloggers what to write about, the keywords, price per post, minimum page rank of blogs to distribute the campaign to, the URL and the number of blog posts wanted to be written for each keyword. So these advertisers advertise on blogs through Smorty. Smorty bridges them to the bloggers where bloggers benefit through creating the posts for the advertisers.
