Oktoberfest 2008 @ Iloilo Capitol Grounds

We (Grace, Shella and I) took a vacation leave last Friday, September 05, 2008, because our college friends planned to watch Hasa 26. This year's Hasa was very disappointing. It started at 6:26 pm and ended around 8:00 pm and we arrived around 7:30 to 8:00 only to watch the awarding portion.

Then worse is that our friends didn't come and 3 of us were left with no plans at all. Options were MO2, Oktoberfest, Grazey's house, or to go home! Then we decided to attend the Oktoberfest opening at the Iloilo Capitol Ground.

Special guests were Alvin Patrimonio, Chito Loyzaga, and Itchyworms. The band was good but not much. The crowd was even at a hype during the front act band, Crossover. Maybe because they sung disco songs that hyped the audience. For the Itchyworms, maybe because people don't know much of their song. What I found funny is that they had this "recorded applause" after their songs. I don't what's that called. It cannot be easily noticed especially if you didn't mind. But I heard it. I was near the speakers.lol The band are nice though, they let us took pictures with them. When Vandolph, the vocalist, came to our side, and because we were all hesitant to call Vandolph, Grazey pushed me towards him that I almost bumped into him. All I did in front of him was laugh hard and the word "picture" was all that came out of my mouth.lol

Even if there were only 3 of us (4 including Xtian, Shella's bro) the night ended with fun and we had stories to tell afterwards.harhar We three are really good in unplanned situations.
